The Heart Opener

Try this restorative yoga pose after a long day of work or a bike ride to reverse forward head and shoulder posture. 

Lay lengthwise with pillow, blankets, and/or a bolster supporting your spine. Legs may be straight, knees bent, or in butterfly position with soles of feet touching.

  • Slowly inhale for 4 counts. 

  • Slowly exhale for 4 counts.

  • Repeat 10 rounds, then breathe naturally in this position for up to 5 minutes. 

Slowly turn onto one side of your body before returning to a seated position.
